About the Curiosity Mission (MSL)

This module provides insight into the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) mission. The Curiosity rover was launched into space on November 26, 2011, aboard an Atlas V 541 rocket. After a 253-day journey covering approximately 560 million kilometers, the vehicle successfully landed in Gale Crater on August 6, 2012.

This NASA-operated project focuses on comprehensive investigations of the Red Planet's geology and climate. The visual documentation presented here is sourced directly from official NASA resources and records the key milestones of this multi-year exploration.
